The Parent’s principal operating wholly-owned subsidiary, Bank of Hawai‘i (“Bank of Hawaiʻi” or the “Bank”), was organized on December 17, 1897, and is chartered by the State of Hawai‘i. The Bank’s deposits are insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (the “FDIC”) and the Bank is a member of the Federal Reserve System. The Bank, directly and through its subsidiaries, provides a broad range of financial products and services primarily to customers in Hawaiʻi, Guam, and other Pacific Islands.
